Here is a good TED Talk on Working Memory by Educational Psychologist Peter Doolittle.  This is good review of what we’ve discussed, and hopefully extends your understanding of working memory.  Consider:

  • In your own words, how would you explain working memory to someone?
  • Reflect on Dr. Doolittle’s message: What struck you as interesting?
  • What implications does his message have for the way you think, learn and remember?
  • What is his final “takeway (most important) point”? What are the implications of this point?
