Several days ago, Bill Maher – a television personality/show-host – argued that Islam is a violent religion.  This is an editorial (opinion piece) by Nicholas Kristof of the NY Times, who was also on the show the night of Maher’s remarks, refuting Maher’s position.

How does Kristof’s argument relate to the statement you read about from the Islamic leaders on ISIS (2 weeks ago)?
